Paul D. Terrien age 86 of Essex passed away on February 6, 2012.
Paul was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on April 7, 1925 to the late DesNeiges and Albert Terrien, Esq.

Paul was predeceased by his parents and his two brothers, John Terrien and George Terrien, Esq.

Paul is survived by his two daughters and their families: Lisa Terrien of Norwalk, CT; and Patricia Josselyn of New Milford, CT and granddaughters Jessica Josselyn and Sarah Torregossa, as well as his only great-grandson, Joseph Paul Torregossa. He will be greatly missed by his sister Anne Terrien of Nashua, NH.

Paul was an avid skier, swimmer, golfer and curler. He taught boxing, lacrosse and glee club. He was a graduate of West Point and was promoted to Captain in the U.S. Army. He served on the front lines during the Korean War and was then stationed in Nuremburg, Germany.

Paul worked for Great Lakes Carbon Corp. and retired as President of Grelcon.
