Dick was awarded a second Army Distinguished Service and retired from military service with rank of Major General in August 1984. After retirement he moved to Phoenix, AZ where he was employed first as Chief Deputy Director of the Arizona Department of Water Resources and later by the HNTB engineering firm as Project Manager for the design of the completion of Interstate 10 through Phoenix. In 1993 he retired from civilian employment. He and his wife Lynn make their home in Paradise Valley, Arizona but had moved to Southlake. TX. |
