While on the USMA staff and faculty 1993-1999 and as the senior consultant to the US Army Center for the Army Profession and Ethic (CAPE), I had the honor of meeting and collaborating with Jack on a special study on the state of the Honor Code within the Corps of Cadets. Also later 2010-2019 we communicated frequently via email on development of the Army doctrine capturing the ideals of the previously unwritten Army Ethic. Jack's devotion to the ideals of West Point and his dedication to preserving the Cadet Honor Code were ceaseless and invaluable to our Army as a profession for generations of cadets, officers and Soldiers. Jack lived those ideals throughout his life. God bless him and his soul. |
