I first met then CPT Stubblebine as my Chemistry Professor at West Point. He made the subject seem very interesting, and we all looked forward to having him as our Instructor, probably because he gave us good grades. Years later, I met LTC Stubblebine, when he visited the Philippine Army garrison in Tay Ninh, Vietnam. I was surprised and delighted to see that he still remembered me.
