I found their Find A Grave Memorials when I was researching his brother-in-law, Thedore DeMuro, who was a classmate of my father at USMA, Class of 1949.

Donald R. Lasher, 92, of Patriots Colony in Williamsburg passed away peacefully on the 30th of November, 2021. A 1952 graduate of the US Military Academy, he also earned a masters degree in data processing from Stanford University and was a graduate of the US Army War College. Donald served over 31 years in the Army, attaining the rank of Major General. He was a Korea and Vietnam War veteran and earned the Distinguished Service Medal and multiple other awards. General Lasher was one of the Army's early leaders in automation and information technology, ultimately rising to command the Army's Computer Systems Command. After retiring from military service, he became the Chief Information Officer for USAA from 1984-1994. He subsequently established the Chief Information Office for the US Department of Interior and served as its first CIO. CIO Magazine inducted him into the CIO Hall of fame in 1997.

General Lasher was also a leader for civic causes. He served on the board of directors for the Texas Business Hall of Fame, Incarnate Word College, the Santa Rosa Children's Hospital, and the San Antonio Symphony. He was chairman of the Children's Miracle Network Telethon in San Antonio from 1991-1993.

Donald is preceded in death by his father, MG(Ret) Edmund C.R. Lasher, mother, Alice Lasher and brothers, Julian and Chauncey Lasher.

His family will hold a memorial service at Bucktrout Funeral Home on December 23rd, 2021 starting at 11:00 am with a reception immediately following. General Lasher will be interred at the West Point, NY cemetery in 2022.

Nadia D. Lasher, 91, of Patriots Colony in Williamsburg passed away peacefully on the 26th of March, 2022. She was born and raised in Nutley, NJ, and graduated as Valedictorian from Nutley High School. Nadia graduated from Vassar College in 1952 with a degree in psychology and married her college sweetheart, Donald that same summer. She was the consummate Army wife as she and Don moved around the country and overseas for 30 years. She kept the family strong through Don's deployments during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Her family knew her as the quintessential cook and hostess. Her penchant for exquisite entertaining was enhanced by her voracious reading of various cookbooks and Gourmet magazines along with classes at the Culinary Institute of America. She also spent many years as a substitute teacher for elementary and special education classes. Nadia volunteered generously with numerous organizations such as the Army Community Service, and faith-based groups in the Catholic Church.

Nadia is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Donald, her father, A. Theodore De Muro, mother, Linda (St. Thomas) De Muro, brother, Theodore (Ted) De Muro, and infant sons Donald and David.

She and her husband, Major General Donald R. Lasher, will be interred at the WestPoint, NY cemetery on June 29th , 2022.
