| As a new cadet in First New Cadet Company in July of 1951 my only memory of "Mr. Myers" (Sir!) was one evening after supper, sitting in my room and polishing shoes that were never shiny enough. Then I heard the rich baritone voice of a Firstie, in the sinks, showering after a day of dealing with doolies. Someone, my squad leader, perhaps, said, "That's Mr. Myers. He's in the chapel choir and glee club." I don't believe we ever had contact in M-2, but I remember that voice. |
