My wife and I were remeniscing about my service in the Army at Ft. Meade in 1953-54 and we remembered Bob and Barbara Tumperi, our next door neighbors and friends. After logging on to the USMA Web page we have just been saddened to learn that Bob died last January. We want to extend to Barbara our sincere sympathies and condolences. Bob was the perfect example of the West Point spirit and a model for future officers. We have lost touch over the years but we want to convey to Barbara our memories of a great guy and soldier. |
