| Neal was the father of my best friend in high school. I remember him as hard working, but also extremely generous with his time and advice. Neal loved his family and included me in a number of family activities, including family summer vacations to stay with his parents in southeast Texas. There we spent lots of time together bass fishing and water skiing. Neal was quite the fisherman but was happy to be the boat driver and tow us kids around the lake when we wanted to ski. Neal furthered my desire to go to West Point and become a Field Artilleryman upon graduation ('77). He also furthered my addiction to bass fishing and my love of the outdoors in general. RIP |
