My father was honorable, honoring, kind, humble, loving, strict, parsimonious, fair, patriotic, charitable, worshipful, faithful, dutiful, upstanding and respected. No other man loved his family, country or God as my father did. He served several Presidents. He was, most of all, my Dad, the man I clung onto and who kept me safe in an earthquake, violent storms, through the deaths of my grandmothers, our many dogs...
