Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Jessica James Scovel on October 6, 2006:

oh how i loved you,
its soon to be three years,
everytime i look above me,
my eyes feel with tears,
not with sorrow,
not with pain,
but with joy,
because we will be united again,
And how you taught me Grandpa,
the way of life,
i still remeber what told me to never forget,
Jessica you said,
"Remember this if nothing else,
It takes less than death to kill a man."
Everyday that saying gets me through that day,
to live as if there is no tommorow,
to live as if there is only today,
to know that you loved me,
it makes me ok,
I strive be like you Grandpa,
it may take me awhile but i'll get it someday,
i want to be like you,
strong and in control,
i strive to be like you,
loving and intelligent,
i work to be like you,
so that i can go through life knowing that i am successful,
loving and kind.
so that i know you are shining up above me,
Leaning over and telling whoever you are with,
thats my blood,
thats My Grandaughter,
i taught her that.
Shes like me and loves every minute being that way

I love you Grandpa and Miss you alot,

Love,
Jessica James Scovel
