Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bruce N. Fraizer on January 26, 2015:

Ken Brandt was full of energy and ideas. I first met him at Phoenix College. His boyish looks deceived me at first. Then he appeared at my church- same guy. Guess we both liked "unscheduled" adventure. Ken was very smart and breezed through his classes. I took longer, but made it through eighteen years later. When Ken entered West Point, I entered a 40-hr work week. Just in time for the Korean War to start! My draft status was 4F so no military future for me... Ken dropped in to see me and the family from time to time. Last time was in California. He was taking his kids to visit a few places and people from his past.

Never heard any more from Ken, until reading this posting. Ken ole buddy, so long to you, but not the memories they'll live with me forever! God bless you and keep you- until we meet again.
