| Lieutenant Almon was better known to me as "G-Daddy". I have countless fond memories of time spent at Grammy and G-Daddy's hilltop house in California, hunting trips to Colorado, and family reunions in many different states. I gained my love for history from him showing me all his historic collectables and listening to his endless knowledge of every battle ever fought for the US. He was so supportive and caring. He was always there for you. He was willing to do anything and everything for his family. He was truly the most selfless man I have and will ever know. I'm a better person because he was in my life and I'm so proud to be his granddaughter. Until we meet again, G-daddy. |
