Sue and I, as West Point Parents, wish to extend our deepest sympathy to David's parents and his family. Words at this time are not adequate to take away the sorrow and pain which a parent must feel at the loss of child. We hope that you will feel the thoughts and prayers of hundreds, yes, thousands of West Point Parents supporting you. One of the things we have appreciated most in our four years of the West Point Experience,is the support and love which the West Point Family extends to all of its members. Know that David was received into heaven by his ultimate Commander, with open and loving arms. At times like these the words of the Alma Mater's last verse mean so much.
