Dear Bower Family, It is with the greatest sadness that we join the the West Point family in offering our deepest sympathy at the loss of your son. I know that nothing I or anyone else can say will soon ease your pain. I'm certain your son was one any parents would to be proud to call their own. When we left our son at R-day, I felt we had given our son to the Nation, but also that we had partially gained 1200 new sons and daughters. I believe in all my heart that Jacob will live on with those other Cadets, that his new brothers and sisters will carry his memory and soul with them, and that Jacob will be a part of all that the class of 2015 accomplishes. I know your family will be joined together again in Heaven someday, and I pray that God will hold you in the palm of his hand in your time of need. The Bauk family Class of 2015 |
