Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Cadet Jacob Bower. Our hearts ache for you and we are saddened by your loss. We know how proud you all must have been when he decided to go to West Point. As his family and friends you shaped him into the fine young man he had become. To serve our country, to protect our core values, and to honor those before him is the life he embraced. Duty, Honor, Country -- was not lost on Jacob, it was his calling. Our NC wrote in a letter that he has never felt more connected to himself and others as he has felt at West Point. We are sure that Jacob must have felt the same way. His memory and the camaraderie he shared with his fellow cadets will always be with the Class of 2015. May God wrap his arms around you and warm you with the loving memories of how Jacob lived each day with joy and purpose. May Jacob's smile and love for you all fill your hearts.
