To Jacob's parents, his family, and all of his friends, my wife and I extend our deepest sympathy to all of you during these difficult times. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you. As a graduate of West Point, and a parent of a new cadet in the class of 2015, I can tell you that Jacob will always be a valued member of both the Long Gray Line and the Class of 2015. Whenever the Class of 2015 gathers, whether as Cadets or as alumni after they graduate, Jacob will be there in spirit with them and he will be remembered. Although Jacob was just completing his fourth week of "Beast", he made the same commitment on R-Day that every other member of the Class of 2015 made just a few short weeks ago. His classmates, along with every other member of The Long Gray Line recognize and truly respect him for that commitment. Please know that Jacob will never be forgotten, and that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. |
