Our hearts have been aching for you in the loss of your son. We live in Austin, and are very familiar with the rapid and powerful flooding that happens in the Hill Country area. I told my husband that even with that knowledge, I would have thought the truck would have been heavy enough to drive through the water. Your son is just a few weeks younger than our daughter. I think that, along with the loss of a child, is why your family has been on our hearts. We are deeply saddened, and are praying that you find some kind of peace in the tragedy. We were so proud when our oldest was accepted into West Point. He sounds like he was a wonderful young man, and I know personally how proud you are and will forever be of him.
