Chuck: Except for the basic course and our faculty tours at the Academy, our career paths with the Army Corps of Engineers did not intersect. While we both attended graduate school for nuclear eningeering study, you eventually developed that expertise into a second carreer and made a name for yourself in the nuclear energy industry. You served the Army and the nation well. I recall, and am ever grateful, for the personal tour that you gave to me at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Plant in Ohio in 1978 while you were assigned to that installation. I regret that your retirement was shortened by the onset of a terminal disease for which you endured several years of agony. May you now be at peace and in the hands of our Savior who you served so well. Dan |
