I am so sorry for your loss. My son is a 2012 graduate and I am a PE teacher who specializes in teaching swimming lessons and lifeguard training. This tragedy has had a huge impact on me. I didn't know your son but anyone who is willing to put himself in that kind of danger is certainly a hero. With your permission I would like to keep the memory of your son alive by talking about the save he made to my students this fall. I am sure he did everything in his power and helped a drowning victim. I can't imagine your grief. I am glad the organ donation saved so many other lives. He gave it all.
