Robert Curtis Harkin Schmidt Robert Curtis Harkin Schmidt, 84, died at his home on March 14, 2016. He was born on Feb. 10, 1932, to Carl and Janet H. (Russell) Schmidt in New Ulm. He is survived by former wife, Marlys Christensen of Fort Worth Texas; sister Janet Albrect of Mankato; children, Ann Bemboom of Sauk Rapids, Matthew Schmidt of Beaumont Texas, Joan Joyce of Chanhassen, Jane Heath of Forney Texas, and Thomas Schmidt of Fort Worth Texas; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to the Edwin W. Martin Memorial Fund, West Point, New York, 10996. No flowers please. The Journal March 24, 2016 |
