Be Thou At Peace

Posted by George Kennebeck on January 23, 2012:

At West Point I was in F-1 and Bob was in G-1 so we saw alot of each other. We both went in the Air Force and were stationed at Moore AB in south Texas. We were assigned to the same training squadron and saw a lot of each other. During his AF career we didn't cross paths but when I retired to Austin TX we got together often. When we planned the Austin Mimi in 2008 our planning group got together every month for about two years so we got to know each other well. I enjoyed his wit as he always had a joke and enjoyed sharing. He and Mary were strong supporters of the West Point Society and '55 always was well represented by the Blitch's. I am going to miss him, even if he was a strong Liberal.
