Tom was my classmate and for three years my WP roommate. But most important, he was my friend. While I studied, Tom read science fiction and he still stood higher than I in academics. We both left B-1 and joined the Corps of Engineers, but after the Engineer Officers Basic Course, we never served together. We did, however, stay in touch and remain friends. Tom was the best man at my wedding to Paula and always remembered our anniversary. Tom retired from the Army after 20 years of service to his country and went on to a productive civilian career. I'll always remember Tom fondly. Grip Hands and Carry on... ~jackC |
