Bob: It has been three years since you departed this life for the ghostly assemblage of the Long Gray Line, however, you have not been lost in my thoughts. I look back upon the many enjoyable hours that we spent together during our early careers in the Army Corps of Engineers - times when we applied our respective interests toward personal growth and contributions to mankind. Following your death, I was privileged to prepare a memorial article for you at the request of Marvel. I thank God for you life and for your contributions to West Point, the U.S. Army, your family, and the the United States. Dan Ludwig |
