Dear Marvel, I am so sorry to learn of Bob's passing at this late date. Bob and I have such fond memories of living across the street from you at WSMR. Bob was such a wonderful husband and father, and I can still see him building the gate across the carport so that David would have a safe place to play. Bob worked so hard making improvements for your quarters so that you would be more comfortable while he was in VN. I missed you so much when you left and went to Nebraska. I have thought about you all so many times over the years. I hope it is comforting for you to know that Bob is remembered, even by brief acquaintances, as a wonderful, loving husband and father, and as a true patriot who cared so much for his country.
