Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Daniel Dugan on May 16, 2016:

Hey, Wes. - or as I would sometimes call you, Macon Wesson. You left us way too soon, you know. Although our paths didn't cross much after we left Ft. Knox as young second Lieutenants, I still remember you well (no pun intended) from those days of our youth. I don't recall, however, what the circumstances were, but I do recall that you were building a wooden boat and I came out to your place to see it one evening. I thought that was pretty ambitious - especially for the particular time in our lives. It must have been for fishing.

Anyway, good and faithful Classmate, you deserve your well earned rest, but I wish that you had hung around for a lot more years.

Your Classmate and fellow Armor file,

Danny Dugan
