Be Thou At Peace

| Bill McWilliams or Maj. Mac as he was known to us was our Air Officer Commanding for 16th Squadron at the Air Force Academy. He was one of my role models as I became an officer in the Air Force. He mentored us for two years and left us with an example of what an officer should be. To me he never treated us like cadets but in some ways like junior officers. He had a great effect on me that I carried with me in my service years. He was so respected by us that 46 years later we brought him back to USAFA for a reunion with my 16th Sq. classmates including a trip back to visit our old Squadron and have lunch with the cadets at USAFA.
