Services for Leo Hergenroeder, 1955, Co L-1, 20325

The Visitation for Leo Hergenroeder was Friday 30 October 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home in Fairfax, Virginia. Classmates attending were Matt and Bety Schepps, Lorna Malooley, John and Anita Rudzki, Jim Cutchin, Jack McAuslan (x-55) and Ed Anderson (LCA).

Leo's Memorial Mass was at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Springfield, Virginia at 1030 on Saturday 31 October 2015. Ed Anderson attended as LCA and will remain in touch with the family to inform the class when internment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery.

Leo and Pauline were married over 60 years and had 6 sons: Leo (USMA 78), David (79), Daniel (80), Mark, Michael and Matthew (89) who is still on active duty. Now they have 6 daughters-in-law, 14 grandchildren and ONE great granddaughter. Matthew's wife Caren is USMA 97. After retirement, Leo taught Physics at Fairfax County High Schools.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a contribution in Leo's name be made to the Superintendent's Annual Fund. (Academic Programs).

Leo will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date to be determined.
