Kelly, when you recently learned of a health problem I was encountering, you offered words of encouragement without giving any indication of how ill you were. I look upon this as typical of you. You put service to others above your own needs, as a true son of the Long Gray Line. I shall always cherish the closeness we shared even without contact over many years. You had a way of making everyone comfortable and a part of your inner circle. My prayers are with Trudy, as we all celebrate your life of service to West Point and country. |
