I got to know Gerry well when I began the class Listservs in 1995. Gerry was one of the first '55 Troops to participate in the then foreign e-mail Nets. What you saw is what you got with Gerry, he was not shy about expressing his opinions and he often did. I grew very fond of Gerry and was very sad when, for multiple reasons, he had to leave the '55 Nets around 1998. I had always hoped Gerry would be able to return to the Nets, but now that is no longer a possiblity. Gerry, you done good, now be at peace with your G*d. Bill |
