Bob, you always had a story. I loved hearing them, as much as you enjoyed telling them. I will never forget you swinging me around, and I found myself face-to-face (nearly striking together) with the Supe. You got me an invitation into his home that day, which made for just one more wonderful memory of that week at West Point. I'm not sure who that invitation pleased more, you or me. Your love of West Point was undeniable. Your love for West Pointers was even greater. I know that from the stories you told me. Well done, my friend! |
