| Zeke was one of the good guys--simple, down-to-earth, no ego, no malice, loved to laugh, impossible to defeat. I hadn't seen him since graduation, but he called me a couple of years ago when passing through Atlanta. We had a good long talk, and there wasn't the slightest change in him that I could detect. He was solid as a cadet and I have no doubt that he was a solid citizen. The world could use a lot more like him. |
