Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Chuck Roades on February 22, 2002:

Zeke, the quiet one, sadly was not often seen at the gatherings of the Class, but how enjoyable an occasion it was if he was to make the affair. The memories that I have of Zeke at school were the times that we would by chance meet when he was making his way toward the 1st Regt. from boxing practice during those dark, dreary days of winter. No matter the weather, nor his temperment at the time, nor any of the hundred things that filled our minds, Zeke always had the time and the good attitude to stop and spend a few moments visiting and spreading his own kind of humor--very subtle, as I remember. We lost a true jewel with Zeke; may he rest in peace, Well Done.
