| Don & I aways considered ourselves the brothers we never had. We commanded the same Special Forces "A" team together, our families lived as neighbors, and our children grew up with each other. When Don and I served in 'Nam, we even experienced many actions together. A most memorable moment was while Don was the Berlin Brigade S-3, and my tour was in Iran; we arranged a parachute jump near Munich with my Iranian SF team, and then flew to Berlin to stay with Don and Nancy. What a wonderful time! I will miss calling him during Army/Navy games to kibitz about all our previous Army football times together. His godson (my youngest) will sorely miss his advisements. To Danny, Donna, and Mary my heartfelt sincere condolences. Jim |
