Joe Franklim and Richie Miller have written a beautiful remembrance of their treasured roommate. It will bring special memories to every classmate fortunate enough to read it. I first met Fred during "C Squad Football" Screening at Howze Field during those well-remembered July afternoons during which we could behave as the normal 18 or 19-year olds that we were. Fred always had a smile on his face and a bounce to his step that marked him for the next four years. I did not have the privilege to met Fred even a single time following graduation and that makes me feel his loss even more. Fred ... you were one super guy. Well done and rest in peace. |
