Be Thou At Peace

PETER H. HORNBARGER 74, of Amherst, NY died peacefully on June 2, 2008 in Aurora, CO. Born October 11, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA. Survived by children Keith, Craig (Erin), Andrew, and Katharine Crane (Lansing); loving companion Tanya Miller; sisters Virginia Harrington (Charles) and Patricia Scheu (Harry) and brother Daniel (Susanne); grandchildren Douglas, Kevin, Kelly, Sarah and Jacob; and nine nieces and nephews. A 1955 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he served in the U.S. Air Force and at the time of his death was a retired agent for the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. A memorial service will be held on June 29, 2008 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 4007 Main Street, Eggertsville, NY. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Us TOO International, Inc. Prostate Cancer and Education Support Network, P.O. Box 65, East Amherst, NY 14051, or St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
