Be Thou At Peace

Posted by John North Hill on July 4, 2011:

I've been looking for you these past few weeks just to say bonjour and to let you know I located Captain/Lt Colonel Alan B. Cayo, who was stationed with us in Poitiers (1959-1962). I was a Company clerk with the 19th Aviation Detachment and I remember you well since I typed your name on the flight records during that period. I now live in south France and have been gathering pieces of those magical years in Poitiers.

I would like to know some of your history since 1962, i.e., did you retire Army? What did you do after your Army years? If your wife or family members or a friend would provide me some of your history I will pass it on to others who served with you/us.

Rest in peace John B. Clayton III.

My respects,
John North Hill
SP5, Army Tennis Team Member, Assigned to the 19th Aviation Detachment, Poitiers, France, 1959-1962
