Anita Haney Denman

Anita Denman died on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Methodist University Hospital - Germantown in Germantown, TN. Ms. Denman was the widow of the late Jerry L. Denman of Sardis, MS.

Anita was born on January 12, 1932 to the late Vannie Smith Haney and Harold David Haney in Memphis, TN. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Collierville, TN. Earlier in her lifetime she received a degree in Biological Science from the University of Tennessee. Anita lived a wonderful life and was able to travel and see the world.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her loving memory include her three daughters, Dianne Reed and Son-in-Law Robert, Owen Reed, of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Andra Denman Cloyd of Tampa, FL and Lou Ann Denman of Collierville, TN; two grandchildren, Erin Walsh Chambers (husband, Josh) and Ryan Walsh of Jacksonville, FL; two great-grandchildren, Evelyn Chambers and Mia Chambers; two sisters, Frankie Wheeler of Collierville, TN and Janie Ray of Germantown, TN; and one brother, Harold Haney of Collierville, TN.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jerry L. Denman and her parents.

Wells Funeral Home of Batesville has charge.
