Be Thou At Peace

| Never met Larry at school, but we were a two man crew during basic flight training at Bryan AFB under a great flight instructor. I remember Larry as having many admirable traits, among them a sense of humor, and steadiness. A year and a half after we pinned on our wings at graduation he was gone. A great loss, and so young! Larry was performing as wingman in weather when he followed his leader into a hill in Germany. So young, so much promise - it's been a sadness for me all these years. |
