Be Thou At Peace

| I have known Gerry since I cut his hair in California starting in 1984. I can say without any reservation, I have never met a more honest, straight forward person in my life. We became friends with Gerry and Mrs. Samos and our strong friendship lasted for over 38 years. He remained the same generous, ready to help some in need without hesitation and a considerate person since the day I met him. He was a master pilot both in propeller and jet aircraft and was even a flight instructor in the US Air Force. Later when he retired, he took a job with Hughes aircraft commuting to Washington DC on a regular basis consulting and marketing the latest satellite equipment with the US Government. He was a wealth of knowledge on finance and started me on the road to investments. Never made a bad call. If I could count the good times and laughs we shared with a dollar amount, I would be wealthy. In spite of his military background, he was a very kind, understanding and gentle man. Always up for participation in a gag or comical episode. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Rest in Peace my dear friend. |
