Harry Milton York

Col. Harry M. YORK, Ret. 72, died July 13, 2003 in Kent, WA. Born December 11, 1930 in Wagoner, OK., he married Marilyn Triebwasser in Seattle on June 25, 1955. Harry graduated from West Point in 1955, did a tour in Vietnam in 1968, was a regimental commander in NATO 1975-1981 and retired in 1985.

He was an Elder at White River Presbyterian Church and a volunteer at the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of the home; son Harry York, Jr. and wife Janna of Auburn; daughter Patricia Thomason and husband Scott of San Antonio, TX. and four grandchildren.

There will be a graveside inurnment, Tues., July 22nd, 1 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent. Memorial may be made to: University of Washington Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, PO Box 358280, Seattle, WA. 98105. Service directed by Week's Enumclaw Funeral Home.
