Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Edgar (Bud) DeMaris on April 7, 2011:

I attended Bud Hall´s service at Fort Rosecrans. The service was well done, including a military honor guard, which rendered a three-gun salute and Taps. The ceremony of unfurling and furling of the flag was moving. Two chaplains from the Port Hueneme Police Department conducted the service, which included an eulogy and homilies. The weather could not have been nicer.

I had the privilege of meeting Mary Hall and the extended families, including a newly arrived great granddaughter, who
was born just before Bud passed, but he was able to see and welcome her. Bud Hall´s cremated remains were interred in the
Columbarium later in the day. This National Cemetery is a beautiful place."

Our brother sleeps well and at peace.
