I had the opportunity to be with Tom for four years at West Point in M-1 ===The "Mighty Runts". Tom was always a great friend to all of us, and everyone had the greatest respect for him. He never missed an opportunity to tell us about his wonderful "New Hampshire", which he greatly loved. Then Tom Auger joined us, and we learned even more about the greatness of that beautiful state. I played on the M-1 football team with Tom during plebe year, and he was our quarterback. Unfortunately we did not have the same talent that he had in high school, but he did a great job and never complained about how his line was doing.
