Bill and I met in 1951 on our way to Fort Bragg for our WP entrance physical. He was certainly one of the nicest guys that I have ever known and a very special friend during our four years at the Rock. We double dated some and would get together during our summer month off in Virginia as we lived only about one hour apart. We had some really super times together and helped each other through a few rough spots. He was an inspiration to me in so many ways. Adelaide and I exchange Christmas Cards occasionally.
