Dan Troyan Memorial Services

My mother, Yvette, and I are deeply grateful for your thoughts and prayers over the past several weeks. We are truly blessed, and my father would be touched by your outpouring of support and affection. Thank you for your cards, calls, and notes.

Burial with full military honors will take place on Wednesday, January 26 at 1100 at the Old Post Chapel on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, with a reception immediately to follow at 608 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. Please RSVP by January 14 to danielle.troyan@gmail.com.

My mother and I hope you can join us and we're crossing our fingers the weather cooperates. Above all, we want everyone to be safe. If you have any questions, you may contact me at the email above.

If you wish to make a gift in his memory, please donate to:

Sarah's Fund, Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. Sarah's Fund provides medical treatment, including emergency services, physical therapy, and medication that helps hundreds of animals heal so they can find their forever homes. There's nothing like the unconditional love of a pet, and ours gave my dad great comfort. Your support will help those who need it the most find their way to caring families.

Landers Scholars, St. Mary's College of Maryland. The Landers Fund provides full scholarships (including room and board). My father couldn't pay for college, and West Point gave him the education, opportunities, and friendships that transformed his life. The Landers Fund provides the same knowledge, life-changing experiences, and relationships through a dedicated cohort program and college education.

Hospice of the Chesapeake. My father received compassionate and comprehensive care that enabled him to stay at home, which was what he wanted.

We send our love and best wishes for the holidays. Joyeux Noel!

Best,
Danielle
