| I learned of Tom's death only a few moments ago. We were online friends and we never met in person but we often chatted on a variety of forums and exchanged emails. I wondered if he was still with us when I hadn't heard anything from him for quite some time. I don't know any of his relatives so I didn't know who to ask. I thoroughly enjoyed our online discussions. Tom was always very clear about where he stood on any subject. That's a rare quality nowadays. He had a great deal of life's experiences and he was always eager to share them. He once sent me pictures of him with his beloved dogs, Tippi, Lacey and Freddie, as well as one of him skydiving. He often talked about how much he loved and missed Marianne. He was truly a real friend. |
