Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Mary R. Warner on November 4, 2011:

Morris and I were married for 16 years and together for 18. What a terrific guy! We had great times during his assignments to the Air Force Academy, during R&R in Hawaii when he was in Vietnam, at the Pentagon, at the Air War College, at Travis AFB, at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, and back almost full circle to the Pentagon. Morris made every assignment special and fun. When I demurred at going to the AWC in Montgomery, Alabama, Morris went ahead and found the perfect house with great schools for my two sons -- it turned into a delightful, heartwarming and charming assignment.

Neither of us remarried -- God doesn't make men like Morris too often. RIP.
