Be Thou At Peace

Tommy's funeral Mass today, was as you would expect, beautifully well done. The West Point Alumni Choir performed, and what do you say about them? They were marvelous. They started with "Mansions of the Lord", for the opening hymn - after the Eulogy - The Alma Mater, and for the Recessional - "America the Beautiful." What's not to like about that?

Classmates in attendance were:

Al and Dot Spaulding
Richie and Mary Ann Miller
Ed and Betsy Anderson
Carl McNair
Billy Arthur
Jack Doyle
Matt and Betty Schepps
Bob and Pat Strati
Bill and Joan McCulla
Jim Cutchin
Dan Troyan and daughter, Danielle
Dave McNerney
Bob Deardorff, who with his son, drove from Phoenix, AZ, to be here
Don Hilbert
Al Raymond

I don't want to leave this out. There were seven or eight others, West Pointers and non - West Pointers in the Army Aviation field that showed up to show their respect. We laid to rest an extraordinary man today and people showed up for him.
