Godwin 3rd Ordway

West Point, 1955

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Rich Cardillo & Todd Graham on April 23, 2003:

Ski Ordway was laid to rest in Fort Logan National Cemetery yesterday, 22 April 2003, after a beautiful funeral mass and reception, at their parish church in Monument, CO. Our Class wreath and spray was prominent among the many floral tributes.

His wife, Ute, asked that I send her sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all who called, sent cards and letters, and who kept Ski in their prayers.

In attendance with hundreds of friends and relatives, were the following members of the Class of '55 : Dick Auer, Quent and Anna Bates, Dick and Sally Bean, Fred and Dorothy Bliss, Rich and Inez Cardillo, John Feagin, Pete Fikaris, Jack and Susan Griggs, Todd and Sue Graham, Charlie Johnson, John and Erma Martling, John McGinn, Paul Parks, Tom Wilkinson, and Bill Wyman.

Many other members of the Long Gray Line and the local community joined the Class to pay their respects to a loving husband, a devoted brother, a soldiers soldier, and a Classmate loved by all.
