Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Ross Lewis on March 9, 2012:

I am Ross Lewis, brother of Jerry Lewis who as a good friend of Wynne's. Today, for the first time, I learned of the passing of Wynne. I am deeply sorry for his passing.

Jerry had many difficulties during the final years of his life and he passed away in 2002. Wynne was a trusted friend of Jerry's and, as an always-dedicated classmate, devoted himself to helping Jerry whenever he could. In 2002, Wynne and I were in frequent telephone contact. And it was Wynne who generously engineered Jerry's safety to reunite with me and, hense, rejoin his son, Bill, in California.

Through that period, I got to know Wynne as a dedicated, "no-stop" man who made a huge impact upon my life as well as Jerry's. Thank You, Wynne!" We are eternally grateful to you! I am sure your family is, and always will be, very proud of you.

Ross Lewis, Jacksonville, Florida
