Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Rich Cardillo on March 25, 2009:

In losing Bill I have lost a dear friend and the Class has lost a brother.

Many wonderful words have been expressed over the loss of "w" and all will go towards easing the pain of such a great loss. I am reminded of the many ways Bill touched all of us. Every Class message had Bill's imprint, every action taken by the Class EXCOM included the wisdom of Bill; every meeting with Bill was filled with his wonderful outlook on life, every request for assistance was readily accepted and Bill's dedication to Father Oscar and his work will be his living legacy.

To Sherry and your wonderful family we share in your grief with the hope that by doing so we ease the pain of your great loss.

Finally Bill wrote his epitaph in the last message I believe he personally sent. It was written on Sunday March 22 2009 and in it he stated "tomorrow will be a bad day" and concluded with "When things slow down I will email you."

Bill was correct "tomorrow" was a bad day and as for "slowing down"; we all know that never will be.

Rest in Peace, Brother
